AUCTION SITES I'VE TRIED
Some you maynot want to try.
ebay.com
One of the best why?
They sell everything, they have a good feedback system,
they accept paypal and other payment methods.
Sure there are a few crooks out there, but overall ebay is a good
auction site. I've had a real good experience with ebay.
My feedback rating is 80+ which means I have used ebay alot.
Plus each auction gives you a time frame for shipping about everyone ships
fast. If they ship slow you can leave bad feedback. If they snooker you you
can leave bad feedback plus you may have some protection from paypal.

ubid.com
This site has grown to offer many products from it's start a couple years ago. I've bought a lot of stuff off of ubid. They don't accept paypal, but they accept credit cards. You can do a charge back on credit cards if you get snookered. Most of what they offer is new or refurbished , but you save a alot of money versus retail. Plus they are growing and offering many products. I like ubid, they are great.
Their model is slightly different than ebay.

alwaysatauction.com
This site is newer than ubid and seems to model ubid very much. Right now they don't offer as many products as ubid, but give them some time. They will be a great auction site soon. They don't accept paypal but credit cards. I have bought several items off of alwaysatauction.com and they are great.

bid4assets.com
This site has alot of US Marshalls real estate and other items for sale.
They have the worst auction model I've run accross. You must put up money deposit to bid on real estate and they charge a 10% buyers premium. When you win an auction you have 5 days to get them the cash, no credit cards, only bank transfers or cashiers checks or money order. Forces you to overnite the payments to get your payment in on time. There is no protection against loss, they get your money and your at their mercy waiting on your product. I bid and won an item and it was two months before I got the product. The seller was a sore loser and stalled my shipment. I even had to pay more to get it shipped . I was quoted a price but paid 50% more just to get the item. He said I cried more than ever, but I really poured it on this cat to honor this won auction. I mean 50 emails back and forth before this cat shipped.
Plus by the time I went back to leave bad feedback I could not. They had disabled that feature. I wouldn't use this site again if I was spending your money.
They plum suck. No leverage to get the cats to ship or honor the auctions. Once they get your money they got you hooked like a fish. Your at their mercy.
